Little did I realise, today is already the last day of year 2009.

Don't Quit
Have you come across this inspirational poem before? I personally love it, so I have decided to share it with you. The poem is titled "Don't Quit", I am uncertain of its origin though.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road your trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit

Sacrifice or Compromise?
That's right, both words have three syllables and more often than not, are used interchangeably. How many understand their true meaning and application? Let's find out from the dictionary!
Sacrifice - to give up something that is valuable in exchange of something else.
Compromise - to reach an agreement in an argument in which the people involved reduce their demands or change their opinion in order to agree.
See the difference? Is it obvious enough now?
Sacrifice: 1 party wins, 1 party loses out = win~lose situation
Compromise: 2 parties lower their expectations to achieve the best result = win~win situation
Lesson of the day: Many tasks in our lives require us to compromise, but this can only be done with an open and willing heart..

I thought I have grown numb to disgusting acts of perverted-mind aliens who seemed never have met a single female on earth before, but I was totally wrong!

Have you found Mr or Ms Right?
Just as any ordinary person, you hope to have a blessed and fruitful life with your love one, of whom you shall live the rest of your live with and start a happy little family of your own.
Have you found Mr or Miss Right? The truth is, there is no perfect person in this world, but rather, how you see the person in a perfect way and fit him/her into your life.
On the contrary, are you perfect? Certainly no! I am pretty sure you have flaws, you make mistakes - to err is to humane.
But you might ask, "how do you know if that person is perfect for you?" It simply depends on yourself - yes, YOU! Everything lies in your hands. Do you want to make him/her your Mr/Ms Right? You know the answer!
When your relationship has dropped to the loopside, do you pull yourselves out of the hole? Can both accept each other and get on with life as a couple, or do you prefer singlehood? Are you willing to make amends and be more understanding of each other?
In short, what do you want? Single and keep on searching? Or settle down and happily married? Do you share the same needs and wants, goals and aims in life? Can both souls help and encourage one another and become a candle when the other candle dims?

"Hate" can be defined as an intense dislike, loathe, despise or extremely detest.
Did someone just arouse your anger?
Or tested your patience?
Perhaps the incident caused you a huge amount of your fortune?
Life-time frustation?
Immensely destroyed your happiness?
Can't seem to forget and forgive?
You can move on with life, or start to hate that person for the rest of your life: the choice is solely yours!
We have the power to determine the path that we want to lead. Hating someone is painful, tearful and fearful. Don't waste time doing that.
**Let's hope and pray that every soul in this earth is bestowed upon with abundance of joy, peace, harmony and most of all, unconditional love**

2008: What a year that was! Moving on, will 2009 be a promising year? This correlates to my thoughts of the true meaning of "acceptance".
Acceptance is defined as the act of receiving or taking something as satisfactory; favorable reception; approval. How many are accepted with open hands? How many are wanting and working hard to be acknowledged?
You are young, tremendously successful in your career and filthy rich, can the society accept you? I bet jealousy and hatred will prevail and conquer the minds of bird-brained people in this materialistic world.
If a girl is fat and ugly, can men accept her? The answer is no - reason being, even if that girl has both physical and inner beauty, men still idolizes sexy icons, porn stars, or the babes in pubs and night clubs!
How many of us wear masks? During study periods, we pretend to be studious while we laze around most of the times. When it comes to the corporate world, one often camouflages itself in hope that career advancement is assured. We disguise to be joyful and ingenious, but what actually fill the hearts of urbanites?
Sad, isn't it? So, what are we waiting for? Let's pick up more positive attitudes and instill them in our lives! Live life to the fullest like there is no tomorrow! Treasure those you love, you will never know when they will be gone for good...
