2008: What a year that was! Moving on, will 2009 be a promising year? This correlates to my thoughts of the true meaning of "acceptance".

Acceptance is defined as the act of receiving or taking something as satisfactory; favorable reception; approval. How many are accepted with open hands? How many are wanting and working hard to be acknowledged?

You are young, tremendously successful in your career and filthy rich, can the society accept you? I bet jealousy and hatred will prevail and conquer the minds of bird-brained people in this materialistic world.

If a girl is fat and ugly, can men accept her? The answer is no - reason being, even if that girl has both physical and inner beauty, men still idolizes sexy icons, porn stars, or the babes in pubs and night clubs!

How many of us wear masks? During study periods, we pretend to be studious while we laze around most of the times. When it comes to the corporate world, one often camouflages itself in hope that career advancement is assured. We disguise to be joyful and ingenious, but what actually fill the hearts of urbanites?

Sad, isn't it? So, what are we waiting for? Let's pick up more positive attitudes and instill them in our lives! Live life to the fullest like there is no tomorrow! Treasure those you love, you will never know when they will be gone for good...
